On 7 May 2026, we were honoured to welcome the Hon Simone McGurk MLA, Minister for Creative Industries; Heritage; Industrial Relations; Aged Care and Seniors; and Women, together with Ms Kim Giddens MLA, Member for Bateman and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Environment; Community Services; and Homelessness, to Grandton Roshana Care in Perth, Western Australia, for a special visit.
Dr Rosh Jalagge, Owner and CEO of Roshana Care Group, together with the Grandton Roshana team, proudly showcased our pioneering vertical care model, an innovative approach to aged care in Western Australia. The visit highlighted Roshana Care’s commitment to delivering integrated aged care services in Perth, combining Residential Aged Care, Retirement Living, Home Care, NDIS support, and Primary Care within a connected, multi-level community environment.
This innovative aged care model in Western Australia is designed to promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing, while supporting residents and clients through a seamless continuum of care. The integrated design enables individuals to access a full range of aged care and community services in one place, supporting both current and future care needs.
Guests were introduced to the wide range of aged care services at Grandton Roshana Care, all focused on delivering person-centred support, enhancing quality of life, and fostering meaningful connection within a modern aged care environment in Perth.
A key highlight of the visit was the opportunity for Ministers to engage directly with residents, who warmly shared their personal experiences of life within the Grandton community. These conversations reflected the strong sense of belonging and wellbeing fostered through Roshana Care’s approach to aged care in Western Australia.
The visit concluded with a relaxed morning tea at Lotus by Roshana, Roshana Care’s in-house restaurant in Perth, where meaningful discussions continued around the future of aged care in Western Australia, community support, and innovation in aged care service delivery.
