Roshana Dryandra
Aged Care (Kellerberrin WA)

A place to relax and call home; surrounded by beautiful woodlands and open farmland.

At Dryandra we offer residential aged care, palliative care, transitional care beds, non-dedicated respite, and a secure dementia area. Dryandra is located right in the heart of Kellerberrin, a true part of the wheatbelt community. Here, you’ll be close to local shops, doctors, the hospital, and the dentist office; with impressive wildflower displays in the springtime.

Our staff are committed to your care with personalised care plans and services designed to ensure that you get the most out of each day. And our onsite chef is available every day to make fresh home-cooked meals that can be altered for any specific dietary requirements. Not to mention our comprehensive lifestyle and activities program, there is always plenty to do. Our garden courtyard, large outdoor BBQ area, airy activity room, and lounge areas are ideal for relaxation or to spend time with visiting family and friends. We also have a gardening club and a hairdressing salon.

Fees and Charges

Your fees and charges will be based on the outcome of the financial assessment that you have submitted to Centrelink or DVA prior to your entry into aged care. Further information is available on the My Aged Care website www.myagedcare.gov.au

Basic Daily Care Fee – Payable by all aged care recipients
The maximum daily care fee is payable by all residents in aged care and equates to 85% of the Australian single age pension. The basic daily fee is set by the Australian Government and increases on the 20th of March and September every year. For some people this is the only fee they are required to pay.

Daily Accommodation Contribution (DAC) – Subject to financial
assessment outcome

The resident pays the required amount direct to the aged care provider which reduces the amount of care subsidy paid from the government to the provider. This fee is subject to quarterly reviews. The DAC can be paid as a RAC (Refundable Accommodation Contribution).

Means Tested Fee – Subject to financial assessment outcome
This fee is dependent on the financial assessment outcome and subject to quarterly reviews.

Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD) - Subject to financial
assessment outcome

This is a charge set by the facility and is for the accommodation payment for the room that you have agreed to enter. The RAD can be paid as a lump sum or part lump sum and a daily payment (DAP). Lump sums paid are fully refundable.

Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) - Subject to financial
assessment outcome

This is the daily payment based on MPIR (Maximum Permissible Interest Rate) of the RAD that has not been paid in full.
